Specifically, some users have successfully completed modules and received a certificate of completion, but these completions are not being recognized in the Schoox system, which informs UKG of your status.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>While the exact cause of this issue is still being investigated, we wanted to share some tips that may help you avoid or mitigate these problems:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><em><u>Use a Computer<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>: Please avoid completing courses on your phone. Using a desktop or laptop computer can help ensure the platform functions correctly.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><u>Browser Choice<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>: We recommend using either Chrome or Firefox browsers when accessing SafeSchools. Other browsers may not be fully compatible with the platform.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><u>Course Interaction<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>: Avoid pausing or skipping forward in videos. Engage fully with each module and ensure you answer any questions that appear promptly.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><u>Save Completion Certificates<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>: After finishing a course, please save or screenshot your completion certificate. This will serve as proof of completion if the system does not update automatically.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em><u>If your trainings do not register as completed:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;complete all of your safe school trainings and email all of the certificates in one email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:hr-tech@bend.k12.or.us\">hr-tech@bend.k12.or.us<\/a>&nbsp;letting us know that they didn\u2019t complete. We will credit your courses on our end.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve the issue. Shoutout to <strong>High Desert Middle School<\/strong> for doing an&nbsp;<em>excellent<\/em>&nbsp;job in their first lockdown drill of the school year! All staff participated in the drill and understood the importance of talking to students about making decisions in an emergency. Staff explained to students why they needed to remain quiet and found creative ways to get their class out of sight.
