New Rotations: <\/strong>This week we are beginning a brand new rotation of classes! Because this was not part of our first practice during Orientation, you may find that there are many uneasy students wondering where their next class will be. Any time that you can find to help support students in the hallway this week will go a long way for them. I know that with cleaning, this is tricky so it may be helpful to have a bit of a conversation about this near the end of class with everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n COVID Symptoms: <\/strong>It is certainly possible that during the next few months, you may encounter a student who is demonstrating symptoms that are in line with COVID. The plan remains to either<\/em> call 7804 and give information to Deb or Christina and they will send someone your way. If you cannot ensure auditory privacy, please send an e-mail to Deb or Christina with the information and they can contact us. Although this can feel uneasy, we have made plans for this. You’ve got this!<\/p>\n\n\n\n EBISS & Synching: <\/strong>This week we will begin EBISS. In order to have current information from which we can make decisions, ALL STAFF should be synching multiple times each week. This allows families to have consistent information, and will support our time together on Wednesday as we make next steps determinations for our students. I will begin to put EBISS data together tomorrow afternoon so please synch prior to then if you aren’t in the habit already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Future Planning:<\/strong> If you can believe it, now is the time that we are already starting to plan for the future. In the next couple of weeks, Ryan and I will be meeting with each of you to get feedback on several questions. Please begin to think about these:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Student\/Staff Photo Days: <\/strong>Thursday, 2\/25 and Friday, 2\/26 are creeping up fast! Following Covid-19 safety protocols, 7th and 8th Graders will be called alphabetically in groups of 20-25 between 11:00-12:00 and 1:55-4:10. 6th Graders will remain in cohorts and called between 12:05-1:50 by class. Due to an “abnormal” year, we will be using the loud speaker throughout the day<\/strong> to call students. Our apologies. If you have any questions, contact Deb or Ryan. If there are any changes to the following schedule, we will let you know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Staff: If you would like to do a fun or silly photo, please snap this on a phone or camera along with your department and send them on to Amy Kissel.
