C19 Designation: <\/strong>Some of you saw the \u201cC19\u201d designation in Synergy and asked if that meant a student who had been in your class had tested positive for COVID, so I wanted to share some information around our safety protocols with everyone in an attempt to minimize confusion. This attendance code is used for a variety of purposes, including positive results, and will not be the means by which you are notified that one of your students has a confirmed positive case of COVID. If a student shows up in Synergy with the C19 designation and you have questions about specifics, please reach out to Anita or Ryan and know that there are limits around what we can share. As we welcome back a greater number of students into the building, it is likely the C19 attendance code will appear more frequently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the event of a positive COVID-19 test result for a student or staff member, Lisa will send out an email to all staff and all families that indicates that the last date the student\/staff memeber was in the building in addition to sharing some guidance around measures individuals can take to reduce the likelihood of spread and how to deal with the onset of symptoms. If you were in close contact (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more in a single day), you will receive a separate email informing you of this and directing your next steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In order for us to be effective in our contact tracing efforts, any time you have close contact with a student (within 6 feet for 15 minutes or more in a single day), you need to fill out this form.<\/a> Additionally, please send Ryan your seating charts (including lunch) for both Golden and Eagle weeks to assist with any after-hours contact tracing that may need to be done. Please share these with Ryan by Friday, April 23. If you have any questions, please let Ryan know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n End of Year Awards: <\/strong>We aren\u2019t there yet, but it is a good time to start thinking about students who stand out this year for our Community, Relationships, Identity, and Legacy Awards. We will start to do nominations and award creation in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lunch QR Change:<\/strong> We got a new QR code on Thursday and the old one will no longer work. If you try it with students on Monday and it kicks them out, they are using the wrong one and need to refer to the Advisory Slideshows for the most current code.
