Principal’s Hello<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello, Golden Eagle Families! Welcome to spring break!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning I expressed my gratitude to students for their behavior. In October, students earned a total of 142 referrals. That\u2019s an average of 8 referrals per school day. In February, students earned a total of 55 referrals. That\u2019s an average of only 3 referrals per school day. That\u2019s more than a 60% decrease, which is amazing! And who earned the lowest number of referrals in February? Our 8th graders! They dropped 75%! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the kind of leadership I expect from these students. I’m happy to see them head into the end of their middle school years showing this kind of leadership. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you all have a restful break with family. We’ll see you all soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spring Conferences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Look for emails about spring conferences the week we return from spring break. We have two conference options for you this time, which, we hope, will allow more families to see the teachers they want to see. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucky Enzo Coin Collection Update<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are so happy to announce that collectively our community donated at total of $630 that will go directly to Sparrow Enzo the spring. Nice job Golden Eagles!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parents and guardians are welcome to attend a presentation on “Introduction to Executive Function – Be the Boss of your Brain” <\/em>on Thursday, May 4,2023 at 6:30 PM<\/span> at PCMS .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then this conversation is for you! Carrie Bonnett<\/a>, Executive Function coach, veteran teacher and PCMS parent, will offer an introduction to these cognitive skills – the ones that help us GET THINGS DONE. You will learn why this is harder for some people than others, what does the brain science say about it and how we can support our students (and ourselves) – even during the summer!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
