Principal’s Hello<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dear PCMS Families, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope you had a great week! It was another dynamic week of learning for us here at school. We started forecasting for next year’s elective classes. We practiced, during advisory, how to be upstanders. And we learned how to be a creative force for good from local poet, activist, and teacher, Mosley Watta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was out of the building for most of the week at the Coaching For Educational Equity conference, and I am feeling energized. The conference renewed my internal commitment to lead collaboratively with our teachers and staff to create a school where all kids feel included and valued. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week the school district sent a communication home about respectful language. There has been an uptick recently in parents\/guardians reaching out to our team asking for support for their child. We have observed that student behavior typically changes when they begin using substances or when they are attempting to use less.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
