I hope you feel that your student learned valuable academic and social&nbsp;skills these past few months.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we embark upon Semester Two and move closer to summer vacation and, for our 8th graders, promotion to high school, remember that we strive to train both the head and the heart. We want students who can think scientifically as well as emotionally. We yearn to foster a love of logic and a love of the arts.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We show up every day to work with 600 adolescents knowing that this work we do builds the future community in which we, our children, and our children\u2019s children will work, play, and love.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We could not do this holy work without you. Create a plan together.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sample Questions to Ask:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How will we stay safe online?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What other activities will we do to balance screen time?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How will we limit our screen time?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>To learn more about how to use technology safely, attend a SafetyNet: Smart Cyber Choices\u00ae workshop.&nbsp;
