This is to ensure we have classrooms ready for September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n They will suspend their work during the week of graduation for set up and events and there will be no mess left behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sorry for the inconvenience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the week of May 30th (if possible!!) or as soon as you can,<\/em><\/strong> please complete the 2nd round of our Crew Survey. The idea here is to see if we were able to “grow” some of our Crew Outcomes since the 1st round! We will also use a piece of this data for our SLGG’s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here is the survey link.<\/a> It should take about 15 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n SIGN UP FOR YEAR END MEETINGS!<\/strong> All certified staff with the exception on Anita and Woo are on their “on year” for Summative Evals. Please sign up for a 15-20 minute time slot here: END OF YR MTG SIGN UP<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n SLGG’s – Entering Part Pre-Data For Goals 1 & 2<\/strong>. Step 1 for all certified staff is to enter your SLGG’s Initial and Submit. You can use my goals below and or tweak and revise your own. Don’t forget to hit SUBMIT. Once I approve them AND we have collected the Crew post survey data you can enter your SLGG final portion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Roger’s Goal # 1 was based on the number of 9th grade students with D’s and F’s from 1st trimester.<\/strong> I will push out the post data (from trimester 2) once we have the Crew Post Survey data in. You can use my exact 9th grade numbers, or if you are curious, you can look at ALL GRADES D & F data Tri 1 & 2<\/a> <\/strong>and use a grade level of your interest to compare. Your call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Roger’s<\/strong> Goal # 2 is based on one measure from our Crew Survey:<\/strong> How much has Crew helped you track your academic progress and figure out where you can do better?<\/em> I used the ranges “Did Not Helped At All”, “Helped A Little” to “Somewhat Helped” to track movement (upwards we hope!!) on this particular measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here is the PDF of Roger’s SLGG – Initial goals.<\/strong><\/a> Use these if you would like.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Please welcome Addylee to our team. Addy is moving over from Portland and is coming to us from Oregon City High School. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Addy Torian is thrilled to join the Realms community this year as the school counselor! Oregon born and raised, Addy is coming from Portland with her Master\u2019s in School Counseling from George Fox University. She believes in honoring and empowering the unique strengths of each student and cultivating an inclusive environment where all feel safe, seen, and supported. In her down time, she enjoys practicing mindfulness and adventuring in the great outdoors! <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n As we move into Phase 4 & 5 of construction we have a little bit of room movement to navigate. For Yen Ling and Norris, you can bring your phone with you but leave classroom furniture and leave projector cart!<\/p>\n\n\n\n More to come on Construction updates however DO KNOW that the Construction CTE – Maker Space classroom and one additional classroom that are going into the “bump-out” near where Dennis has lived is targeted for completion by mid-October. The main middle school classrooms are targeted for completion by mid to late August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are planning a session this coming Wednesday during SIW to gather a final round of staff input and feedback on our master schedule for next year. We put the master reschedule on pause while we waited for our staffing plan confirmation from the District but now that staffing is IN, we are hoping to gather feedback and lock it in before the end of this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n We know YOU all are also eager to know what your year looks like in terms of teaching assignments and we also know you have IMPORTANT input in terms of how we sequence courses across trimesters etc. We will share a draft of the “in process master schedule” on Monday and ask you to weigh in on variables like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n There is a new Curriculum ordering process this year.
