Stay tuned for details, but know that we hope to make this a &#8220;school wide culture building day&#8221;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>There will be opportunities for all of us to &#8220;get into the spirit of the day&#8221;!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Working on the Crew Party at the Tramp Zone date &#8211; stay tuned!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-background\" style=\"background-color:#38daf3c7\">TRANSITIONING OUR CAFETERIA TO RE-USABLES!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student led initiative that began last year, stemming from a desire on the part of our students (and staff) to lessen our carbon footprint here at school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phase 1 &#8211; reusable silverware; boat stacking; food waste composting (commercial)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phase 2 &#8211; resusable plates and bowls and dishwashing teams!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">More info to come!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-background\" style=\"background-color:#38daf3c7\">ATTENDANCE TAKING REMINDERS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are continuing to receive calls from &#8220;stressed or cranky parents&#8221; who are getting robocalls at 10:00AM because their student has been marked absent despite being dropped off at school or getting on the bus in the morning!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is happening most often when a student arrives late to class, and neither the teacher nor the office has adjusted their attendance to reflect the student&#8217;s arrival.
