Final presentations were <strong><em>impressive<\/em><\/strong> and kids were incredibly bought in. Mary doesn&#8217;t have a live District account yet, but when she does it will be <strong>mary.dailey@nonstaff.bend.k12.or.us<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mary starts officially on April 1st, the Monday after Spring Break!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0f17d907e495901629cdc427484d6e7d\" style=\"color:#09c1f1\">3rd TRI TUNE UPS: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Wandering students <\/strong>&#8211; we&#8217;ve seen an increase in students in unsupervised &#8220;wanderings&#8221; lately and want to ask you to remember that if you have students in class, please supervise them. Some examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>&#8220;I am done with my work so my teacher said I could  shoot hoops or play volleyball&#8221; &#8211; this is not a pattern we want to see. We know this is a tough one, but please consider what kind of extensions the student may need and keep them in your class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you need to give a student a &#8220;walk a lap break&#8221; from class please be sure they have a pass from you and a specific time to return.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you want students to work outside your classroom, please have them work at tables outside your room so you can keep an eye on them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Duties<\/strong> &#8211; please be sure to be present for your duty AND if you have a sub, be sure that either your sub is aware of your duty or connect with a peer or the admin team so we can cover it for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/11cKR9tdvGCscBWfY_YTeVs5QEXE8t0PPAtCbiByudKE\/edit#gid=1248017863\"><strong>Here is the Trimester 3 Duty Schedule.<\/strong><\/a> Please review, and note that yellow boxes are new assignments and pink are the same as trimester 2. If you believe there is a mistake, or that you aren&#8217;t going to be able to cover a duty assigned to you (or if something doesn&#8217;t seem fair or right), please let Harju know and he will look at finding a swap. We&#8217;ve tried to keep duties evenly spread, and AM\/PM duties backed up to prep periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9935eef3473d4256cdc7686784128b75\" style=\"color:#09c1f1\">SBAC TESTING &#8211; An Ask for Phoebe, Laurie, Lynda, Dante, Lauren, Dante, and Anita. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>AND AND FYI TO CREW TEACHERS!<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SBAC testing matters to us! Here are the things to know:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>enter your leave into UKG before the date whenever possible, but for emergency sick leave, entering it after is OK<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>you must enter leave for sick leave, personal leave, fieldwork outings, District meetings&#8230; basically ANY TIME you are away from your &#8220;normal classroom, in person and on site duties&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for school business leave, PD leave, fieldwork leave, PLEASE ENTER A NOTE in the system with details (for example&#8230; <em>&#8220;School Business &#8211; District Science Priority Standards work w\/ Dean Richards. Sub paid for out of Dean&#8217;s budget&#8221;<\/em>) this way Jennifer knows what its for and how to code the costs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When entering extra time on your timesheet PLEASE ENTER A NOTE explaining the extra pay<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>for example, when covering for a colleague, you now get paid! Enter&#8230; <em>&#8220;subbed 2 hours for Jane Doe <strong>who was on fieldwork<\/strong>, (or, <strong>who was out sick<\/strong>) science and math&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>if there is some other extra pay arrangement, please refer to the pre-approlval from RW and whatever the activity was for ex <em>&#8220;2 hours extra honors planning work approved by RW&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6bd040254ff1210a78ac0a9b8530da32\" style=\"color:#09c1f1\">GREENING OUR CAFETERIA &#8211; HELP &amp; NEXT STEPS!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I will <strong>timesheet<\/strong> for lunchtime support for helping us make this transition for 3rd trimester. <strong>If you are interested in giving up your 30 min duty free lunch 1 or 2 days per week, please let me know and I will compile a team and a plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>If you are interested in taking on a bigger\/coordination role, let me know ASAP!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We need student and adult support to make this happen &#8211; this includes supervising kiddos as we get dishes washed and waste stations managed. However, given it is most people&#8217;s lunch break, I can&#8217;t require this! I will timesheet as needed though &#8211; we want this to happen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will transition to reusable plates ONLY once we have adult support plan AND student helper plan in place.
