The ask for teachers across secondary placements is to have your 1st six weeks of curriculum built in Canvas before school actually starts. For courses that are “stand alone” this is a good goal\/guideline. For courses that are part of our Fired Up or Power and Privilege Expeditions, this will be a little trickier as more collaboration is likely required to actually build each individual teacher’s Canvas curriculum. So, for now, be sure to complete your Canvas training and begin buffing out your syllabus\/modules as best you can. The on site work would be designed to help us build our team together and to facilitate collaborative planing in small teams. We’ll observe social distancing and masking requirements. I haven’t planned this out all the way yet, but assume we’ll spend at least a couple\/few hours each day working on site during Week 1, probably in the mornings.
