To be clear, we are NOT offering WebEx office hours and no after school clubs on the next two Wednesdays. The most recent messaging I have is that I am to encourage you to work on site as the PURPOSE of the next two Wednesdays is to give our staffs time (alone? together?) to “prepare for all in” including preparing ROOMS. Interestingly curriculum planning is not named as a task… assuming they just think we “push a button” to transition our already perfectly crafter Hybrid curriculum to all in?!?!?!!!?!!!

SO – In my best attempt to be inline with with what is kind of MURKY, I am ENCOURAGING all of us to work from school this Wednesday and next. This will allow us to properly prepare classrooms with adequate furniture and spacing (this is an IN PERSON TASK) AND to provide you good access to each other for curriculum planning support and collaboration, AND lastly to allow me to better address your concerns, and gather your solutions, ideas and suggestions around the return to “all in” so that the process is as SMOOTH and positive as it can be for YOU, our teachers and for our students!

NORMALLY we have our bi-monthly Students of Concern meeting scheduled for THIS Wednesday. I would actually PREFER to use that time to tackle other “more pressing” issues related to both our upcoming new administrator hire AND the return to “all in” so, here is my plan for THIS WEDNESDAY…

Replace our normal (and union approved) 8:00 – 8:40 SOC meeting this Wednesday with an 8:00 – 9:00 all staff meeting dedicated to the new administrator hire and answering your “return to all in” questions as well as gathering your suggestions and recommendations! I will END at 9:00AM SHARP or before!

Use one of the 2 dedicated April SIW hours THIS Wednesday afternoon from 1:30PM – 2:30PM for all staff SIW. The agenda is connected to some of the work our ILT has been planning around supporting great teaching that invites and encourages High Quality Student Work!

ALL IN “CONSIDERATIONS”

Bell schedule – here is our DRAFT for our bell schedule during all in.
