We have been in several schools so far this week and it is looking and feeling good out there, with lots of learning happening all around!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Elementary Get Together!  <\/strong>There has been interest in doing some kind of get-together, with 5 different ideas noted.  Three of the different ideas are all tied with 4 votes a piece.  One thing that stands out in the voting is that about 66% of the votes are for doing something after our All Admin PD on 12\/11, and 33% for a different day (12\/17),  4 of the 5 activities are around gathering at a place to have a beverage.  So, since we will all be wearing our festive sweaters on next Wednesday (12\/11) Let&#8217;s head to the Mid-Town Yacht Club  (it&#8217;s one of the options people voted for that was most centrally located) and continue the festivities for as long as you want to stay.  Cheers! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>January SIWs on the 15th (END) and 22 (protected).<\/strong> Reminder&#8211;Educator Network Day is January 15th, followed by an EL planning day on January 22.  On January 22, this whole 90 minutes is protected for teachers to have time digging into and planning the second EL module that they will be in the middle of doing. The Educator Network Day (END) on the 15th will get them going with loads of information, but will not provide the needed time to do some deep and intentional planning.  Please use this time for what it is intended to be used for and do not schedule any other topics to be covered during this 90 minutes.
