Hi Learning Specialists and Inclusion EAs,
There is a wonderful opportunity for our Inclusion EAs to get extra professional development on October 19th! This is a non-contract day, but staff members who would like to take advantage of this awesome opportunity will be paid.
There are two options that will be offered for your learning this day:
- CPI – This will be an initial course for anyone who needs training about Non-Violent Crisis Prevention while working with students who are dysregulated. (This was sent out previously in an email from Krista Baker.)
REGISTER IN PERFORMANCE MATTERS - Educational Assistant Conference Day – This will be a conference-style training, where staff can go to courses on things such as trauma-informed approaches, instructional strategies to make the most of your small group time, inclusive practices, supports for English Language Learners, among many others.

Introducing our new partnership with Care Solace. Care Solace secures mental health and substance abuse appointments in a fast time frame, care companions speak 200+ languages, match clients to culturally and gender appropriate care, and are available either anonymously via a weblink or through a warm handoff by school staff.
