Learning Specialist Transfer Interviews:

If you are a learning specialist and are interested in working at a different site next school year, you may apply internally and participate in our transfer interview process.  You will be placed into a transfer pool, interviewed, and will have an opportunity to indicate which sites you would like to be considered for transfer if they become available.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Log in to your District UKG, either through the portal, or at this site: bls.fyi/UKG

Path: Menu – My Info – My Career – Search for Jobs

In the search field, type ‘request’ and this will narrow down the jobs so that you can select ‘Apply for Job’ for the ‘Learning Specialist – Transfer Request 2025/26 School Year’ posting.

In the application, read the instructions carefully. At one point you will get to a screen with a text box titled “Cover Letter”. This is NOT an upload place and will not take much text. Just put in a short note to the hiring administrator.  You should not need to submit a cover letter or resume.

When you are done, select ‘Submit’

As a reminder, per the CBA, this transfer process is open to any contract learning specialist.  Probationary 3 Learning Specialists that were moved to contract status as of the February 11, 2025 board meeting, are eligible to participate in the transfer interview process.

If you are still probationary and are interested in working at another site, then you can apply to any open jobs through the UKG hiring portal.  Please reach out to our office with any questions.
