{"id":1366,"date":"2022-05-11T18:35:04","date_gmt":"2022-05-11T18:35:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/the-special-edge\/?p=1366"},"modified":"2022-05-17T22:48:17","modified_gmt":"2022-05-17T22:48:17","slug":"the-special-edge-5-17-22","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/the-special-edge\/2022\/05\/11\/the-special-edge-5-17-22\/","title":{"rendered":"The Special Edge, 5\/17\/22"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #2590c2\">From Sean Reinhart<\/span><br \/><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h1 class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><span style=\"color: #02ccc9\">FALL 2022 IN-SERVICE TRAINING &#8211; <\/span><\/strong><br \/><strong><span style=\"color: #02ccc9\">SAVE THE DATE!<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n<h2 class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><strong>WHEN: Tuesday, August 30<\/strong><br \/><strong>WHERE: Summit HS Commons<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"x_MsoNormal\">WHAT: All Learning Specialists, School Psychologists, and Speech Pathologists will be working in teams to prepare for the 2022-2023 school year.\u00a0 More information to come.\u00a0 This will be your required district training.\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n<h2><span style=\"color: #11afd6\"><strong>From Transportation<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>2022-2023 Students with transportation on IEP<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All students must have a <u>new<\/u> transportation plan request for the new school year.<\/li>\n<li>The transportation plans should include: the grade the student will be in for the 22-23 year.<\/li>\n<li>Family contacts confirmed\/updated (phone numbers and address).<\/li>\n<li>The correct school that the student will be attending in 22-23.<\/li>\n<li>Plans should have medical and behavioral plans attached if applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Special considerations should have content (not left empty, why is student needing special transportation services). Any special needs: i.e. wheel chair\/safety vest.<\/li>\n<li>Bell times must match for the appropriate grade\/school.
