Hi Learning Specialists and Inclusion EAs,<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

There is a wonderful opportunity for our Inclusion EAs to get extra professional development on October 19th! This is a non-contract day, but staff members who would like to take advantage of this awesome opportunity will be paid.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

There are two options that will be offered for your learning this day:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

  1. CPI – This will be an initial course for anyone who needs training about Non-Violent Crisis Prevention while working with students who are dysregulated. (This was sent out previously in an email from Krista Baker.)

  2. Educational Assistant Conference Day – This will be a conference-style training, where staff can go to courses on things such as trauma-informed approaches, instructional strategies to make the most of your small group time, inclusive practices, supports for English Language Learners, among many others.
