&nbsp;You will be receiving an IEP Due Date report and an Evaluation Due Date Report today as well as the following three Mondays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Information regarding&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markpfqdzl17y ContentPasted0\">December<\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_mark3yn6dx3oh\"><span class=\"x_x_markc6o0rev4x\"><span class=\"markb20nqqrb2 ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Child<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markg24bdns9h\"><span class=\"x_x_markyewbmwqm8\"><span class=\"marklamku9rau ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Count<\/span><\/span><\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">For us to report accurate data to ODE,&nbsp; case managers need to continue doing what you have always done:<\/span>\n<ul type=\"circle\">\n<li class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal ContentPasted0\">An IEP with&nbsp;a due date which falls&nbsp;<b><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">ON<\/span><\/b><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">&nbsp;or&nbsp;<\/span><b><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">BEFORE<\/span><\/b><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">&nbsp;Dec. 1&nbsp;<\/span><b><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">MUST&nbsp;<\/span><\/b><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">be reviewed and finalized&nbsp;<u class=\"ContentPasted0\">on\/before<\/u>&nbsp;Dec. 1 to be included in our&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_mark3yn6dx3oh\"><span class=\"x_x_markc6o0rev4x\"><span class=\"markb20nqqrb2 ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Child<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markg24bdns9h\"><span class=\"x_x_markyewbmwqm8\"><span class=\"marklamku9rau ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Count<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Example: If the IEP due date is 12\/1\/22 and you hold the meeting 12\/1\/22:&nbsp;<b><u class=\"ContentPasted0\">This IEP must be completed and finalized the same day in order for the student to be&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markg24bdns9h\"><span class=\"x_x_markyewbmwqm8\"><span class=\"marklamku9rau ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">count<\/span><\/span><\/span>ed.<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Example: If you hold an IEP meeting 12\/1\/22, but the current IEP due date is 12\/3\/22, then you follow practice and finalize within 10 school days.&nbsp; This student still has a current IEP and is eligible on Dec.&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markt0q14r7ja ContentPasted0\">1<\/span><sup><span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markt0q14r7ja ContentPasted0\">st<\/span><\/sup>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">If you have held <\/span><span class=\"ContentPasted0\"><b>ANY<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ContentPasted0\"><b> IEP meeting before December 1st<\/b>, it must be completed, reviewed, and finalized on\/before December 1st.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Example: If you hold an IEP meeting 11\/29, but the IEP due date isn&#8217;t until 12\/3, you <b>MUST <u>still<\/u> have the paperwork reviewed and finalized by 12\/1<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>What you should notice from a paperwork perspective, is that there is<span class=\"ContentPasted0\">&nbsp;<\/span><u><i class=\"ContentPasted0\">no difference between census season and any other<\/i><\/u>!&nbsp; It should feel like business as usual.&nbsp; Hopefully, this will alleviate the stress that so many of you feel this time of year as we head into late fall.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">We only have three days after Thanksgiving break before the&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_mark3yn6dx3oh\"><span class=\"x_x_markc6o0rev4x\"><span class=\"markb20nqqrb2 ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Child<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markg24bdns9h\"><span class=\"x_x_markyewbmwqm8\"><span class=\"marklamku9rau ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Count<\/span><\/span><\/span>&nbsp;Deadline.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please submit all paperwork for meetings to RCC&nbsp;<b class=\"ContentPasted0\">as soon as possible<\/b>&nbsp;for those meetings held late in November so that RCC will have time to review and be ready before Dec.&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markt0q14r7ja x_x_x_x_x_x_cc_cursor ContentPasted0\">1<\/span><sup><span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markt0q14r7ja ContentPasted0\">st<\/span><\/sup>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">S<u><b class=\"ContentPasted0\">can in paperwork to RCC<\/b><\/u>&nbsp;for a faster return.&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Please work with your records clerks for a review prior to finalization, but keep in mind that if they are not able to provide a review, you are&nbsp;<\/span><b><u><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">still responsible for FINALIZING your IEP and all associated documents<\/span><\/u><\/b><b><u><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">.<\/span><\/u><\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Our current number is&nbsp;over&nbsp;<b class=\"ContentPasted0\">290 IEPs due by 12\/1<\/b>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Also, as a reminder there are widgets that track the&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markg24bdns9h\"><span class=\"x_x_markyewbmwqm8\"><span class=\"marklamku9rau ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">count<\/span><\/span><\/span>down to Dec.&nbsp;<span class=\"x_x_x_x_x_x_markt0q14r7ja ContentPasted0\">1st<\/span>&nbsp;for your students who will be due by then.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">On the home page when you open Synergy, click on the plus&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"Do8Zj ContentPasted0 w-86 h-52\" src=\"1341093346*265760e3-6051-4610-8066-4c17c2d82080\" data-outlook-trace=\"F:7|T:7\">.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Go to Special Education, choose IEPs Due by 12\/1\/22.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">The widget will show up on your home screen.&nbsp;
