Find what inspires you!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;\u2014&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TOMORROW!! <\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;For our elementary team members, we have an <em>OPTIONAL<\/em><em> <\/em>professional development opportunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Topic: <strong>Acadience Math Benchmark &amp; Progress Monitoring Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Level: <strong>Elementary<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Location: <strong>Virtual via <\/strong><strong>WebEx: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bls.webex.com\/meet\/sara.young\"><strong>https:\/\/bls.webex.com\/meet\/sara.young<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Time: <strong>1:45-2:45 pm&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the Desk of Shannon Watters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope this message finds all of you well!&nbsp; I wanted to bring to your attention some recent updates that have been implemented to enhance Synergy, specifically with regards to the Meeting Notes\/Attendance and documentation within the IEP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Meeting Notes\/Attendance<\/strong>:&nbsp; This document is now MANDATORY for every IEP process, meaning the IEP will not finalize without the document completed and finalized.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Things to Know:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You do not need a physical copy of notes or attendance when using this form.&nbsp; However, if you prefer to have a physical copy, you can upload those to the attachments tab of the document.&nbsp; You will still need to complete the attendance portion of the Synergy Document.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only Word and PDF documents can be uploaded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are no signature requirements on the new document.&nbsp; You list who was in attendance, just like on the IEP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Participants tab populates from the Student\u2019s Team, so make sure the team is up to date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How-to and explanation of the document is found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/bend.k12.or.us\/student-services-resource-site\/where-to-find-things\">website<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tabs on IEP<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Testing Tab\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>State and District Assessment Areas have been updated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specially Designed Instruction and Goals-Category Drop-Downs:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>These two drop-downs are now identical and arranged alphabetically.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provider:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Other has been removed, only LEA and Regional remain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anticipated Location:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>locations have been removed that don\u2019t align with our commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment.&nbsp; If you previously had one of the removed selections, you will see a number rather than a location.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hope you have a restful and fun winter break.&nbsp; HERE is a Happiness Calendar for January from The Greater Good Science Center at the University of California Berkeley.
