We intend to send the updated guidance very soon along with student lists.&nbsp; If you are new to BLP we will share an early childhood Canvas course in preparation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few significant changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BLP is no longer facilitating the reevaluation process for current ECSE students, these will be completed by ECSE through 9\/30 for any TK student.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Observations can start after <em>February 20&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transition meetings can be scheduled starting <em>April 1<\/em> through the end of the school year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ECSE team will complete evaluations for new TK student referrals between May 1 and the first day of school, and provide to BLP.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From the desk of Sara Young<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have an exciting opportunity to earn college credit!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Who: Any certified employee in the Student Services Department<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cost: $50 (plus a small registration fee if you have not taken a class through OSU before)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Credits available: 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please contact&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:student-services-coaches@bend.k12.or.us\">student-services-coaches@bend.k12.or.us<\/a>&nbsp;if you are interested in learning more about this opportunity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have worked closely with our early childhood team at High Desert ESD to make some BIG changes for our students transitioning to kindergarten in the fall.
