iMessage (Seeing when Read)

Wouldn’t it be nice to know if somebody has read a message you sent them? Like “I’m going to be home 10 minutes late” or ” I got your message and I will pick up the kids” . Well with iMessage you now have that ability. The option is called Read Receipts, which by default it is off. To turn it on just go into Settings, then find Messages. Once selected you will see “Send Read Receipts”, just toggle the off to on and your done.

Siri is a great feature on the new iPhone4s. A nice feature if you spend time in the kitchen is timer. Just tell Siri to set a timer and for how long. It will then begin the timer countdown and alert you when time is up. With it being on the iPhone4s you can carry it anywhere and always hear it unlike the timer that stays in the kitchen.

Screenshot on iPad/iPhone

If you are needing to take a screenshot of something on your iPad or iPhone, it couldn’t be easier. Just hold the Power button and Home button concurrently, you’ll know the screenshot was captured since the screen will flash white. The picture will be stored in the Photos app in the image library.

Scroll to Top of Page:

In any application, including Safari you can automatically scroll to the top of the page by tapping the “top bar“, which has the time, service bar, battery. In Safari, you not only get to the top of the page but it brings back up the URL bar.
