QUOTE OF THE WEEK

In thinking about our SIW conversation and “hacking” our EBISS process the following quote comes to mind.

“It is teachers who have created positive teacher student relationships that are more likely to have the above average effects on student achievement.” ~John Hattie

BITS AND BOBS

  • Silver Rail is looking forward to sharing their “Day of Kindness” with HDMS students again this year.  This will happen on April 9th.  A Silver Rail teacher, Ms. Kent, may reach out to you to see if Silver Rail students would be able to visit your classroom and spread some sunshine!
  • Tardy Data: Five students were tardy four or more times from March 1st through March 7th.  There was one repeat offender who will serve lunch detention and zero egregious tardies.

All students appearing on this report for the first time received a written notice with their specific tardy data; additionally, their family was notified of this warning.
