Toward ourselves and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Real education should consist of drawing the goodness and the best of our own students.  What better book can there be than the book of humanity?&#8221; ~ Cesar Chavez<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TO DOS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>When sending an email to family\/student, <strong>please put school initials (e.g. HDMS) and course title (e.g. ELA 7, Math 8) in the subject line<\/strong>. This will help alleviate some of the anxiety around learning from home.<\/li><li>If you become concerned about a students health, well-being or engagement in remote learning, please <strong>fill out an Observation Form<\/strong> as usual.\u00a0 Most of the fields are not needed so feel free to skip over them.<ul><li>We have another database to track student concerns to make sure that a staff member is responding to their needs.\u00a0 You can view the other database <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/199aidBvy0J_rIt--oNoa0qJzApmAUJyft4zZVe_h0NQ\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 It is also linked on the right hand side of the blog.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>As we are all being potentially overloaded right now with information from a variety of sources.  I encourage us all to work to complete the below items by Friday.<ul><li>Connect with our students<\/li><li>Share a brief over view with your students of what learning in your class will look like for the next week or so. <\/li><li> Connect with your content team and set up regular meetings (daily, weekly) to process and support. My hope with this document is to capture questions, answer them and support transparent communication so that everyone has the same information. <\/li><li>In order to support our all of our families, please continue to use LinguistLinks (linked under &#8220;Other Docs&#8221; on the right side of the blog) for document translations that aren&#8217;t urgent.
