(The initial meeting\/informational session will be held on Dec. 11.) Also, if interested, chat with Jo Myers and Clarissa Wiebe who have experience with this model of Co-Teaching.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tardy Data<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three students were\u00a0tardy three or more times\u00a0from November 9th through November 15th\u00a0 There were two repeat offenders\u00a0who will serve lunch detentions and zero egregious tardies.<\/p>\n<p>All students appearing on this report for\u00a0the first time\u00a0received a written notice with their specific tardy data; additionally,\u00a0their family was\u00a0notified of this warning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gallup Poll<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/open?id=1y-z9PGnCxr1EQ2JDe6IBtsa3OXrwrexx\">Here<\/a> is the link to our Gallup Results.\u00a0 We pass the district average in almost all categories.\u00a0 Some notable high scores to celebrate:<\/p>\n<p><em>I feel safe at this school<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>At this school, I get to do what I do best every day<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>I have fun at school<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>In the last 7 days, someone has told me I have done good work at school<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The adults at my school care about me<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>I have a mentor who encourages my development<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some score below the district average:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>I know that I will graduate from high school<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>I have a bank account with money in it<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scores for 6<sup>th<\/sup> grade are generally the highest and slip slightly lower in 7<sup>th<\/sup>\/8<sup>th<\/sup> grade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ADDITIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>D-Wow folder<\/li>\n<li>Behavioral Resolution tab<\/li>\n<li>This week I wanted to share a short article with you that was featured in\u00a0<em>Teaching Tolerance<\/em>. This was published as part of their \u201c<strong>Why I Teach<\/strong>\u201d series in which educators are provided an opportunity to share their personal story behind why they teach. I believe we grow in empathy when we hear another\u2019s story. I also believe it is a gift we receive when others are willing to share their personal story with us. One that we can return when we become vulnerable ourselves, letting others see the unpolished side of what makes us who we are.
