{"id":2137,"date":"2021-03-29T22:18:16","date_gmt":"2021-03-29T22:18:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/wendy.mcculloch\/?p=2137"},"modified":"2021-03-29T22:41:42","modified_gmt":"2021-03-29T22:41:42","slug":"3-29-21","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.bend.k12.or.us\/wendy.mcculloch\/2021\/03\/29\/3-29-21\/","title":{"rendered":"3.29.21"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below is an outline of information about our plan to return to all-in learning (as it stands now):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#8700d7\"><strong>Known changes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-3f2323b9-d5a1-424a-bf8e-d8f080da2515\"><li>No school for students on Wednesdays 3\/31, 4\/7<ul><li>No WebEx meetings, no assignments in Canvas, etc<\/li><li>Teachers will use this time to plan for all-in instruction as well as work on classroom reconfiguration<ul><li>There will be staff meetings and\/or wing safety meetings during parts of these two teacher work days <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" id=\"block-3f2323b9-d5a1-424a-bf8e-d8f080da2515\"><li>Conferences will change to four hours on the evenings of the 4\/21 and 4\/22<ul><li>Will still be virtual&nbsp;<\/li><li>No school for students and staff on 4\/16, as staff will have earned comp time from conferences <\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"background-color:#8700d7\"><strong>Tentative changes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am planning to share further details with you at <strong>a staff meeting at 11:00am on Wednesday morning in my WebEx room<\/strong>. These include,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Our bell schedule; 75 mins for each of the four periods (purple or grey) per day<ul><li>Students will learning in person Mon through Fri (no WebEx classes during all-in learning)<\/li><li>First class begins at 10:25, last class ends at 4:25<ul><li>Certified contract time will likely be 8:45-4:45<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Wed will be a shortened day for students<\/li><li>SIW will be in the afternoons<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Rotation schedule&nbsp;<ul><li>Will be <em>either:<\/em><ul><li>Mon\/Thurs purple schedule, Tues\/Fri grey schedule (with Wed TBD)<\/li><li>Purple schedule one full week, grey schedule the other full week<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Lunch schedules<ul><li>There are a few more guidelines within the RSSL guidance that continue to make lunch time challenging.
