The only downer is that it is only available in Speedgrader on your computer&#8230; they haven&#8217;t made it available for use on the iPad quite yet. Check it out! \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ADVISORY UPDATE:&nbsp; Thank you to all who took time to share feedback regarding our HDMS Advisory Program!&nbsp; While there are many areas for growth, and some fantastic ideas for improvement, survey results indicate we are off to a great start.&nbsp; Time for community building\/relationships, implementing SEL, and establishing consistent structure\/expectation for advisory time will be goals moving forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some survey takeaways to highlight:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>40% of staff feel Advisory is a good use of school time, and 40% agree that it&#8217;s important, but challenging to have 8 periods\/day.\u00a0<\/li><li>80% of staff gave a 6 or greater (on a scale of 1-10) for Advisory meeting established goals.<\/li><li>60% of staff feel that Advisory Must-dos are &#8220;just right&#8221; and 33% feel that Advisory Must-dos are &#8220;too much&#8221;<br><\/li><li>80.6% of students agree or strongly agree that Advisory is a good use of school time.<\/li><li>91.8% of students agree or strongly agree that they feel connected to their Advisory cohort.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please consider joining the Advisory Planning team at our next meeting, Monday November 29th at 8:30 if you are interested in sharing ideas or digging further into survey results.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Week 12 (November 29-December 3) is updated<\/strong> and ready for you on the Advisory Scope and Sequence hotlink on The Blog!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the &#8220;must-dos&#8221; for the week is this form: <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Lomm4ylX6ocCiSMMDnCAwRrhklzVett6tIdd0id1em0\/edit?usp=sharing\">Academic Check-In\/Goal Setting<\/a>.&nbsp; Consider making this a weekly activity!&nbsp; If you have students who are struggling (D\/F) you might have them connect with\/get a signature from the teacher in the class they are challenged by, to encourage collaborative support plans.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">STUDENTS IN CLASSROOMS AT LUNCH:&nbsp; With teacher permission, students are allowed to be in classrooms during lunch for clubs or support from a teacher.&nbsp; <strong>Students and staff must follow these guidelines<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Students must be continually supervised inside the staff person\u2019s classroom<\/li><li>Students must remain in the classroom for the entirety of the lunch period&nbsp;<\/li><li>Students may only unmask if actively eating or drinking<ul><li>If unmasked, students must be at least six feet apart<\/li><li>Students may only be unmasked for a cumulative total of 15 mins<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Masked students must be at least three feet apart<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FROM LAUREN HOUSLET: Support with Collaborative Problem Solving- I have just finished the tier 1 CPS class. Now what I need to do is put what I have learned into practice. The admin team is generously allowing me to participate in some of our disciplinary conversations. Since I will be volunteering some time during my prep period to engage in this work you may see me as the responder on SST Follow Up Response forms.
