Please ensure that you have your sub\nplans, class lists, duty schedule etc. updated and please leave your Sub\nNotebook under your phone.&nbsp; Whenever you\nare absent please be sure to include safety information and how to locate your\nSub Notebook in your content lesson plans.&nbsp;\nPlease see a Safety team member for clarification (Jo, Brad, Laurie,\nKoop). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-An email was sent out in August with updated documents for all the Sub Notebooks (updated phone lists, personnel room locations etc).\u00a0 If you missed that email please reach out to Kerri Green and she will re-send it to you.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>UPCOMING\nWEEK<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">D- WOW: Synthesize<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wednesday March 13 (Safety Day all day, every class period)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">7:45am Advisory: Safety lesson then an \u2018all call\u2019 to release to\nPBIS celebration<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1:30pm SIW: Whole staff EBISS\/Kid Time in the Media Center<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BITS\nAND BOBS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Staff that indicated on the survey an interest in meeting with\nAdmin regarding teaching assignments for next year have been emailed and\nscheduled to have those conversations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Kid Time Update Overview (more details will be provided at SIW)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because we have not seen any demonstrable improvement of the\nstudents that we\u2019ve discussed during Kid Time, we are going to hack how we\nstructure Kid Time to see if we can produce greater improvement in student\nlearning.&nbsp; Here is a brief overview of what we\u2019ll be trying.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll review the list of the 46 students who had 3 or more F\u2019s\nduring the first semester.&nbsp; We\u2019ll then ask each person to adopt 1\nstudent for the second semester.&nbsp; It could be a student that you have\nalready informally adopted, a student from year\u2019s past that you\u2019d like to\nreconnect with or a student that you know from a non-academic setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can then brainstorm what an adoption could look like bearing in\nmind that we don\u2019t want to place a host of new responsibilities on your\nshoulders.&nbsp; Our guess is that most everyone is already doing this in some\nshape or form but we can use Kid Time to put a little more definition around\nit.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the long run, if we can assist these students in improving the academic engagement, it\u2019ll make all of our lives a lot easier and provide them with a richer future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>REMINDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Safety Day slides have been updated with improvements\/adjustments\nbased on feedback we have received.&nbsp;\nPlease review on Google Classroom prior to instruction on\nWednesday.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Forecasting is coming up.&nbsp;\nMore info to come with details but the dates are below<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8211; 8<sup>th<\/sup>\ngraders will forecast with BSH during 1<sup>st<\/sup> period on 3\/19 and 3\/21<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 &#8211; 8<sup>th<\/sup> grades will forecast for SHS and MVHS during Advisory on 4\/3 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &#8211; 6<sup>th<\/sup>\nand 7<sup>th<\/sup> graders will forecast during Advisory on 4\/3<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Snow Day make up hours noted below.&nbsp; Certified staff will offer 16 hours, outside\nof their regular working hours, that will support connection\/communication with\nour families between now and the end of this school year to take place of\nconferences.&nbsp;
