All input is viewed and taken into  consideration  on how to assist students toward success.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>OSU Teacher Candidates need homes:&nbsp;\nIf you are interested in supporting a Teacher Candidate next year please\nlet me know and I can connect you with the University supervisor for next\nsteps.&nbsp; Placements are needed in Social\nStudies, Science and English Language Art. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Silver Rail is looking forward to sharing their \u201cDay of Kindness\u201d\nwith HDMS students again this year.&nbsp; This\nwill happen on April 9<sup>th<\/sup>.&nbsp; A\nSilver Rail teacher, Ms. Kent, may reach out to you to see if Silver Rail\nstudents would be able to visit your classroom and spread some sunshine!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A Note from our Counseling Department regarding- Suicide Risk Assessment\nProtocol<ul><li>Much like protocols on reporting concerns of child abuse and\/or\nneglect, it is our responsibility to alert the properly trained professionals\nif we hear or see anything that indicates a student might be thinking about\nsuicide or planning to end their life. <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>If you have concerns, you must share that information with the\nstudent\u2019s grade level counselor immediately.&nbsp; All comments and concerns\nneed to be reported, even if the student says they are okay or that they were\njoking\/didn\u2019t mean it. School counselors have been trained in suicide\nprevention and assessment. There is a formal suicide risk screening process\nwhich must be followed.
