The Winter Bazaar is Saturday, December 2nd!

The Winter Bazaar is just around the corner which means that student and professional booths are available to rent!

Westside Village families, we are so excited to announce that we are beginning to work on our Winter Bazaar! This is sponsored by Friends of Westside Village, our nonprofit organization. The event will take place at school on December 2nd in our Great Room.

What is the Winter Bazaar?  It is a creative and sustainable Gift Market for children, professional artists and craftspeople to sell and promote their products. Students at the Village can express their creativity, learn how to form a business, and promote sustainability and their products.

Families are encouraged to buy a table to sell their products. Students may also buy a table to sell their products with parent permission. The cost of a table is $30.00.

At school, all students will have an opportunity to participate in creating a school project or baked goods to promote connection to our earth and each other. A team of elders will organize who is running the school booths and leading the creation of school products. All children will be included, however, not everyone needs to be at the event.

If you buy a table to sell your own product, please stay away from baked goods because the students of WVMS are doing that. All baked products will be done in a professional kitchen.

More information will come out as we get closer to the Bazaar, but feel free to call the office with any questions (541-355-2000).
