Smith Rock and Pumpkin Patch October 19th and 24th<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

An exciting opportunity came up for us to take a trip to the smith rock pumpkin patch combined with a hike. Our Elder leaders will pair up with their center and younger buddies for this adventure. Youngers and Olders will have fun together. In order to accommodate the whole school; which students are going what day has not been established yet. As soon as we know, we’d love some volunteers to help us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refining Our Rights and Responsibilities <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a community, we have collaborated to refine and redefine our rights and responsibilities. This guides our school’s way of interacting and learning together here’s the complete list<\/a>.<\/strong> In order to uphold these rights and responsibilities students and staff drafted expectations<\/a> <\/strong>based on the four dispositions of dignity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harvest Celebration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
It is almost time for our harvest celebration which takes place during school on Tuesday, October 31. This is always a very fun day filled with costumes, sweet treats and of course a fun run! Students will rotate through many fun and festive activities including face painting, crafting, coding, cooking and more. <\/h6>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few things to note about the harvest celebration: <\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n
– Students are welcome to dress in costumes and need to be appropriate for all. Please no scary, gory or cultural appropriation. <\/h6>\n\n\n\n
– Please do not send small pieces as they inevitably get lost through out the busyness of the day.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n
– All students will participate in a costume fun run, please send your student with comfortable shoes.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

-We encourage upcycled and homemade costumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
