Investigate the mineral you have been assigned–find out all the standard info: where it’s found, how it is gathered, what it is used for, etc. After you have done that, you must determine the environmental impact of using this mineral–do the benefits of using the mineral outweigh the environmental costs of harvesting the mineral? Why or why not?
After you have found your info and organized it to support your argument, you will create a VoiceThread presentation in which you lay out your argument and support it with the pertinent facts.
