Health and Science Curriculum Adoption

Are you interested in health education or science education?  We are starting the process of reviewing our standards, curriculum materials and practices in both health and science this year.  Would you like to be a part of the process?  The commitment will be 5 ½ days throughout the 26-27 school year.  Let me know if you are interested by filling out this form.

Student Well-Being

Grades K-2 Teacher Observed Core Skills Screener Opened Monday, October 5th
The Core Skill Screener is used to assess K-2 students in 3 of the 6 core skills. This screener opened Monday and remains open through October 30th. The assessment is only 3-4 priority standards, six questions for K-2 teachers, and aligned to our report cards. The custom formative Waypoints will appear in the K-2 teachers’ to-do lists on the dashboard when they log in. They will be labeled Kinder Beginning of Year, 1st Beginning of Year, etc. Instructions.

Grades 3-5 Core Skills Screener have been open and will close October 30th.
Special call out to Buckingham (92%), Pine Ridge (97%) and Silver Rail (90%) for all hitting 90%+!

Please remember to mark your core lessons COMPLETE after you teach them in Wayfinder. You can do this several ways: the home dashboard, the checkmark next to the Core Lesson title, the top of the lesson guide or the last slide of the slide deck. Here are the directions on how to do that.

If you have any questions or would like support on anything Wayfinder related, reach out to your School Counselor!
