This and That:

• On Friday (May 27) Christie and I will be driving to Portland to pick up our daughter from the airport as she returns home from college for the summer.  And just in time too!  She begins her summer job of patrolling the Sunriver paths Therefore, I will not be officially on the clock at work, but if you need anything feel free to call my cell phone.
• Here is a Math Best Practices flyer announcing some PD opportunities that will occur in August.  Please feel free to share with your staff.
• In case you haven’t heard, here are the new VP hires at the following four elementary schools:

  Joan Warburg- Bear Creek- Joan is currently the principal at Hendrick Ranch Elementary School in Moreno Valley California.

  Tom Lence-High Lakes- Tom currently teaches fifth grade at High Lakes.

  Lybe Crumpton-Lava Ridge- Lybe currently teaches fourth grade core subjects in the morning and fulfills the duties of student services in the afternoon at Ensworth.

  Jesse Rasmussen-RE Jewell- Jesse currently teaches third grade at Jewell.
