Hi everyone!
Here are a couple of pieces of information for you as you roll into the week.
Shout Outs: So many people to thank for this week at PCMS!

- Jane Ward spent her Thursday evening on Facebook live with MS families across Bend in order to describe our Middle School schedule and plan. What a feat! Thanks for representing us all so well Jane!
- Christina Johansen has been working so hard to get our schedule ready to go. Not only did she do all this work, she also had to learn it all on the fly during the past two weeks. Thank you so much!
- Our custodial department has worked so hard to make our school sparkle. Please continue to support them by following the guidelines that Walt sent out last week.
- Office staff: We would not be in the place we are this week withou tthe diligence of everyone in the front office. Everyone has been on the phone constantly to make sure that our families have what they need and our students are in the correct places. Thank you!
- Jane Ward and Dan Curfew: Both of these fantasitc folks have offered to be our on-site Canvas support people. Please send yoru questions their way and they will work to find your answers.
Canvas Creation: Most pressing the week is Canvas creation. Please make sure to review this document completely regardless of your familiarity with Canvas. It outline describes what ALL PCMS teachers will do in terms of module uniformity. This is not optional when creating Canvas modules. Mandy will be having a drop in session to show what she has discovered within Canvas as she has crated modules. Please feel free to join her in her room at 9am on Tuesday for more info.
Schedules: Schedules will go live on Wednesday. This includes your list of Advisory students. Ryan will send you more information this week regarding what information you will ask families during the calls you will make to them between Wednesday and Friday
Attendance: We are working on a system for attendance and are not yet sure what it will look like. I will have clarity regarding this as part of our meeting on Wednesday.
Breakout Testing Sessions: Refer to Ryan’s e-mail last week regarding the breakout testing sessions. This will allow you to get familiar with the tool prior to launching it with students.
Staff Meeting: We will meet on Wednesday morning from 8-9 in order to give out information that comes our way. Please meet in my room.
Part-Time Counselor Opening: We have a temp, part-time counseling spot open right now that closes on Monday. This person will be teaching the 6th grade wheel. If you know of someone, please refer them to the BLP site.
Computer Monitor: Please send me an e-mail if you are interested in having a monitor in your home work space. We will use the ones from PCMS and they will need to come back upon hybrid but I am happy to get these to you if they are helpful.
