START TIME SURVEY – 2 QUESTIONS ONLY!
Employee Start Times input: Due to the changes to student start times in the coming school year, it is likely that many employees will see changes in their regular work day start and end times. The District Lead Together (DLT) team discussed the issue and is seeking to listen broadly to employee preferences and related suggestions. This team is made up of teachers, classified staff and administrators. This group focuses on issues that impact student learning and employees as a team. By Dec 7, we are asking you to run a quick face to face meeting to explain our interest in gathering employee input about work day hours and then provide a few minutes for them to complete the 2-question survey below. Thank you for your help!
The student start and end times for the 19-20 school year are:
- *Elementary – 8:00 – 2:30
- *Middle – 8:45 – 3:40
- *High – 8:45 – 3:45

MOST RECENT GRADEBOOK. TUNE UP!:

CREW LESSONS – SUPPORTING STUDENT LED CONFERENCES
I have completed an SLC rubric (in SLC folder on drive and linked to lesson flow below) for parents and students to complete at the end of their conference. I will have paper copies ready for you on Conference day and you will collect them at end of each conference and use them to enter a score in your Crew grade book. Please walk through this rubric with students in Crew this week prior to “practice” and remind them that SLC’s are an important part of their “crew grade”.
Also ready is the SLC “fillable planner” (again, linked inside the lesson flow below and on in SLC team drive folder)
Please consult the “calendar” on page 1 of our Crew Lesson Flow For SLC’s as we have important SLC prep lessons this week!
MINI OBSERVATIONS AND WALK THROUGHS COMING!
I am looking forward to getting into classrooms and spending some time in conversation with you about lesson planning, lesson delivery, and /or whatever else is on your mind related to teaching! I will try and get into everyone’s room at least once over the next two weeks and ask that we spend 10 or 15 minutes in the day or two after my observation to de-brief and chat!
