Allie – thank you for shouldering the lion’s share of the load for Prom… it sounds like it was a great success! I KNOW that our students and parents really appreciate the effort that you, the leadership students, and all of our staff helpers went to! THANKS for making a special night for our students!

Fridays PD-Planning Day – If You Missed It…
Thanks to all of you who were on campus on Friday to dig into planning and for those who were not, we missed you.
Here is the agenda from the day. If you were not with us, please do take some time to look through it and follow all the links! Catching up with your Intensive teaching team (if you are co-teaching) and also your grade level Crew team will be important as we did some planning work in each of these teams.
We started our day with breakfast (THANKS KATHIE) together with the RMS team and a short session on visioning “opp’s and obstacles” as we come together. It was nice to connect. We have posters in our office if you want to see or add.
SWAG – “Staff Week at A Glance”
This is actually QUIET week on campus in terms of “big events” however as I mentioned in our Staff Crew on Friday, the staff absences are plentiful this week but the good news is that, so far all our openings are covered by HDESD subs! Thanks to all those who have been open to jumping in and covering for each other when we get thin! Lets keep our fingers crossed that no subs bail!

The next two weeks after this one are “biggies” with Parent Open House, Senior Celebration Day, Forecasting and of course, Intensives!

We are REALLY looking forward to this evening as an opportunity to welcome families into our school… many of whom may never have set foot on our campus! These kinds of opportunities to really get to know families pay dividends down the road in lots of ways.
As described in the agenda, you can leave 2 hours early that day (we are trading the school discretion SIW time) OR, if you prefer to stick around and do some work and planning during that time, I can time sheet you for participating in the Open House!
