THE SWAG’s (staff week-at-a-glance)
THE PLACE to know what is going on!

If you notice an UPDATE button (see below)on the slide for the week, DO UPDATE IT! It means that there has been an update made to the sheet that feeds these slides and you need to refresh the slide to see most up to date info
Nuts & Bolts…
- VISITOR WIFI: please do not give ANY students the Visitor WIFI password! It is unfiltered and unrestricted and is designed as a way for adult guests/visitors to access the web, NOT students
- WHENEVER YOU NEED A SUB, PLEASE… Our office managers request that if you need a sub please reach out to them with an email, a phone call or a text RATHER than going directly to Subfinder yourself. For those of you newer to Realms, this might be a change in practice! There are several reasons for this… one of which is that we like to try and target certain higher quality subs and our office managers can do that easily. Thank you! Jennifer and Kelly are both up for receiving texts prior to 10:30PM at night and after 6:15AM in the morning. Weekends are OK! Jennifer’s cell: 541-815-8362 and Kelly’s: 541-825-8023

District BIAS Lesson and Reporting Form
As you all know, our District is doubling down on efforts to improve our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices! There are several efforts underway, and ONE of them is around helping our students understand and interrupt BIAS related incidents including (but not limited to) race, gender, and sexuality related bias in our schools.
This is IMPORTANT work that we at Realms believe is critical to our mission and to our students! So, our ask is:
- Review the lesson individually and check in at your grade level crew meeting about it. what is your comfort level with teaching this lesson? How can you help each other?
- Read the Family Letter we will be sending out in advance of this lesson
- Teach the lesson in your Crew during the week of Sept 26th or October 3rd?? Can we be ready for week of Sept 26th?
- We will post these BIAS REPORTING posters as soon as the lesson has been taught!
