BIG UPS!
Lots of BIG UPS for everyone for all the hard work, fun, patience, flexibility, and trust last week!
- WOW… it was a VERY full and interactive 1st week of school and I appreciate all of you for pulling it off. It was super cool to see the team building, the active pedagogy, and how well you all managed to deal with construction, quick fieldwork and more!
- I definitely saw plenty of happy/proud students!
- We WILL be completing some plus/delta notes on our agendas during our Wednesday SIW this week!

THE SWAG’s (staff week-at-a-glance)
I will normally do my very best to get the RMS SWAG and RHS SWAG out on Fridays, not Sundays. But, this week I simply could not get there!
- Note that you can not edit the SWAG’s (purposeful). If you see a mistake, please let me know ASAP!
- I am trying to keep these simple to digest and only including things that I think ALL staff need to know. Shared MS/HS staff… sorry, we have to look at both!
- If you notice an UPDATE button (see below)on the slide for the week, DO UPDATE IT! It means that there has been an update made to the sheet that feeds these slides and you need to refresh the slide to see most up to date info
- I am trying to work ahead on th4ese SWAG’s so you could look 2-3 weeks ahead. However, for long range things, the Outlook calendar and Major Dates calendar are best (handbook).
DUTIES – some tweaks/adds…
I have made a few small tweaks/adds to our duty schedule, and it may be that we will need to keep doing this (hopefully not) until we get it right.
- Please double check the duty schedule here and mark your cals
- If you can’t do a duty on a given day, please find a friend who can do it for you!
- PM Bus duty peeps – we want you to have a radio with you… we are working on this. See Jennifer/Kelly.

We are putting together a new “Staff Handbook” in an effort to keep everyone on the same page about all of key foundational docs that underpin much of the awesome teaching we do.
There are staff lists, bell schedules, master schedules, calendar links, “laning documents”, and SO MUCH MORE. For those of you who have been at Realms MS for a while, these are docs you might previously have found on our internal “staff portal”. Be aware that it is still IN PROGRESS!
