District Hosted Staff Breakfast For RMS & RHS!
Thursday Morning – for those of you who haven’t experienced this… IT IS AWESOME! Basically a BIG Crew of our District leaders (usually including Superintendent) will descend on our school and set up a full “made to order” omelette and pancake bar – it is fun, celebratory and, well, TASTY!
They will begin serving starting at 8:00AM! I suggest getting there early to enjoy 🙂
UKG Timesheet Process Due Sunday @ 11PM!
UKG rollout is still a bit messy and this is making payroll more complicated this month… for all of us but in particular for Jennifer! Hopefully this will get easier!
TO DO: Monthly Timesheet Submission Required in UKG for ALL! You will need to submit your timesheet in UKG each month, even if you have no additional time worked or leave taken.
TO DO: if you have any EXTRA TIME to claim: (should be pre-approved by Roger) please add it in the 2nd row – see below. If you can’t find a reason for the extra work under the secondary job block, just choose “other” and add a comment so I know what the extra time was for (after-school program, planning, Canvas, etc). If you filled in for another staff member, please add their name as well – account codes change based on who you worked for.

TO DO: if you had any time off in this pay period: please do double check your time off (sick, personal or school business time) in UKG. UKG and Frontline are not “talking” the way they are supposed to so Jennifer has manually entered any time off into UKG… but please let her know if you see anything that is off or incorrect!
The UKG log in can be found on the blsd staff portal… bookmark it!

Managing the Pop Up Kitchen!
Just a heads up that with the increasing interest and excitement from teachers and students about using the Pop Up Kitchen as part of curriculum (in addition to YLW’s Spanish classes, there has been interest and activity from Senior Crews, Brandon’s Transitions class, and also the upcoming 9th Gr Survival Expedition) Yen Ling and Roger are moving forward with a system for reserving the kitchen AND a system to make sure that teachers and students are well trained in both safety and taking care of the kitchen resources!! There are checklist documents to follow.
Reach out to Yen Ling to hear more about the requirements when hoping to reserve and use the pop up kitchen!!
