BITS AND BOBS

8th grade teachers: Please make sure grades for 8th graders are up to date by noon on Wednesday June 5th as we will be running an ‘F’ list and reviewing it before we invite students to the 8th grade celebration.

End of Year Gathering: This will be a potluck style event.  Please click here and sign up for a contribution to bring/share with everyone.

End of Year Staff Check Out Sheet: These yellow check out sheets will be put in your box by the end of the day Friday. Please work through all the items listed to support a smooth transition to summer.  See me if you have questions or concerns.  Click here to print one (in case you misplace your yellow one!)

Taking It Up-  Taking It Up, is a two-day experience focusing on race and equity.  This training will take place at Pacific Crest Middle School August 13th and 14th. Note: because of the intense nature of the training, staff are invited to attend only if they can be there all day on both dates.

Staffing Update:

HDMS had 4 open positions for ICCL’s for the next 2 year cycle.  Congrats to the following folks who will serve in this role: Brad Thompson, Sharlline Markwardt, Nole Kennedy, and Stephanie Morrison.

Robotics Coaches Wanted:

HDMS has two open coaching positions.  Please see me if you are interested in supporting our Robotics Team.  If you want to know what these positions entail, please see Tebeau or Wardle for the inside scoop!

  • Tardy Data: 
  • Four students were tardy four or more times from May 24 – May 30.  All four students on the list were repeat offenders who will be assigned consequences.
  • The families for all students appearing on the tardy report will be contacted.
