QUOTE OF THE WEEK

“Children do well if the can”  ~Bruce Perry

TO DOs

– Below is the Power Point that was shared during our SIW this week.  In case you were absent or wanted to revisit some of the concepts I wanted to provide it for you.  Good reminders of best practice and how we are needing to look at our students differently and perhaps need to adjust ourselves, our routines, our expectations in order to best support them at school.  I recognize these shifts don’t happen ‘overnight’- but it is good to continue the conversation and have a growth mindset with ourselves as we try new ways to show students we care.

-Half way through the year is a good time to review our School Design Plan.  This can be found in Document tab in a folder entitled School Design Plan

-Please review our Coordinated Care folder in the Document tab.  This will support further conversation during next week’s SIW

-Please make time in the next few weeks to check in with your content team regarding your SLGGs, progress, what data you may need, and make any adjustments you see fit.  We will do a more formal Mid-year check during SIW on the 27th
