Oct 8: Village Council Meeting, 8:00/8:15 in the Library
Oct 9: Dental Screening (only if opted in- see below)
Oct 16: 1st Six Week Celebration, 4:30-6:00
Oct 20-22: Camp Tamarack Outdoor School (5th Graders)
Oct 29-31: NO SCHOOL (District Conference Days)
Nov 11: NO SCHOOL, Veterans Day
Nov 13: Picture Retake Day

Picture Day is Oct 3
Smile! Dorian Studios will be at our school for fall pictures on Friday, October 3rd. All students will be photographed. Order forms went home and are available in the office, or you can order online. Find more information HERE, or En Español.
Retakes will be Thursday, November 13th.
Drop Off/Pick Up Safety
Families, to keep our students safe, we ask that students please use the crosswalk if crossing the road. Please do not stop in the road and have your student meet you at your car.
Also, if you are pulling up to the curb in our parking lot, please remember that this is meant for quick drop off/pickup. If you plan to get out of your car for any length of time, please find a parking spot.

Firebusters, Oct 6-10 (K-5)
Beginning Monday, October 6th, five videos corresponding with activities on the worksheet (that students are bringing home today) will be available for viewing at the websites listed below. Watch the five videos online or during the KTVZ news at 6:30AM or PM each day for information to help complete the worksheet. Then return the worksheets to the office to receive a coupon for a FREE McDonald’s ice cream cone!

Dental Screening, Oct 9
Advantage Dental will be at our school Thursday, October 9th to provide dental services free of charge. Consent forms came home with students, they are available in the office, or complete the online consent form here. If you do not wish to have your student screened, there is no need to complete the form. ONLY students that have a completed form asking for services will be screened/serviced.
iPad Insurance for 6th-8th
iPad insurance is still available, but iPads must be inspected at school before insurance can be purchased. Payment must be made by cash or check in the office. iPad insurance is not required, but strongly encouraged. Insurance cannot be purchased after an iPad is damaged. iPad insurance does not cover a lost iPad.
Soccer Balls Needed
We would love more soccer balls! If you have any or know of anyone that might, send them our way please!
Photo Opt-Out
During the school year we enjoy taking pictures of our students doing awesome things! These are used for school-only slide shows and sometimes to post on our social media pages. We never share names of students. If you wish that your student’s photo not be shared, please email Ms. Marcie or call the office.
