Cynthia Brandt, at Pine Ridge Elementary, is using Sticker Art, called Stick Together, to motivate her students while they are in the library. In essence, it’s a large 40″ x 36″ poster grid with lots of letters on it. Along with it, you have about 4,000 stickers (they’re tiny) and a color key. The object is to use the color key and match the sticker to the correct box on the grid. As fourth-grade students filed in, I could hear students trying to guess what the finished poster will be a picture of:
Below are some of their predictions. During this library class time, they played a Quizlet Live. Cynthia handed out stickers to students that were following directio
ns or to highlight specific behavior she wanted other students to emulate. What a great incentive!
These art posters can be purchased from Stick Together Art, Demco and possibly Amazon.
