This website by Project Zero of the Harvard Graduate School of Education is full of routines for getting students to think critically about their learning and about the perspectives of others.
Search by subject area and grade level. Dig deeper and find that each routine has lesson strategies. For example, under the blue tab for Synthesizing and Organizing Idea is Portable Surprise with a Resource Link that summarized the routine and suggested ways to use it in an Ecology unit. The following video talks about routines rather than strategies, meaning try one strategy with lots of practice to make it a routine. The video is 4:36 minutes.
