Translators- If you have requested an interpreter for next week’s conferences, please review the “ELL Parent/Teacher Conference Schedule” document. It is also accessible to you through your shared google drive docs. (Jody McBride also sent you an email on 10.20.16 at 10:30 with additional info.)
Round Two Visits- I’ve completed my first round of visits and would like to begin the second round. Please sign up here for a date and time. As always, we’ll begin the visit with any pressing questions/ issues you may have. We’ll go over your slggs if you have them complete. Time permitting, I’d then like to sit in on a mini observation or two and depending on logistics, comfort, etc., it would be great to be able to sit in on a post conversation too. Thanks!
PBIS- Great stuff coming out of PBIS this year. The first meeting of the year had 35 attendees. Compliments to Tracy Reynolds for her years of leading the PBIS work in our district. PBIS is an ingrained part of the fiber of our elementary schools and has been a phenomenal framework for our work on building climate. Please remind your building PBIS coordinator that your PBIS plans are due as soon as you can get them to Tracy. Much of the work many of you are doing in the thriving citizens bucket is applicable here, so don’t do extra if you don’t have to. Thank you for all your hard work in this area.
Your Slggs- Please complete your slggs on one of the two forms I sent in a previous elementary notes. If you need the forms, you can find them here and here. Please try to have them completed and electronically scanned to me before the end of this month. We’ll review and sign off during my next visit to your school.
Here’s a great clip of some Three Rivers students putting their future ready skills to use. Thanks to TRS third grade teacher, Devon DeGarmo, and Tim B. for sharing.
