Mini Observations-We are coming up on spring break in two weeks (yay!), which means you should have four mini observations completed for all staff members. Please be sure that you document completed mini observations and post conferences in TalentEd. Please keep this as up to date as possible. Thank you.
Temporary Staff- Please list any temporary certified staff members you have at your school along with their assignments on this chart. I will call each of you later to touch base re: each. As we head into staffing, I want to have a better feel for the number of elementary openings we may have district wide. Please get this to me by the end of the day Tuesday, March 13. Thank you.
Transfer Interviews- Jon sent out the email notifying staff of transfer interviews. Please let me know if you are planning to attend so that I can create a schedule. The more of you who participate, the quicker we can get interviews completed. Please make it if you can and if you think you might have a spot this year.
Safety Drills- Thank you for all you are doing around safety and keeping your campuses secure. I know it’s a lot of work, but it pays dividends in more ways than one. Please be sure you are up to date on all safety drills and that they have been reported to Marsha Baro. In addition, please report any real drills to Marsha as well. If you are unsure of what drills are required, please look here.
Fake BLS Send- It has been reported by a few employees in our district that they have received a BLSend email recently that they could not open with their password. What has been learned is that someone has created a “look alike” to our secure email system (they have not hacked into our system, but have created one that looks similar to the receiver). If you look closely you will see that the web link is not part of our system and there is likely not a name attached of whom you are receiving this email from. If you receive one of these emails, please delete it. If you try to enter this “look alike” with your password, it is very possible that your password is trying to be copied. If this happens to you, it is advised that you change your password immediately. I don’t know how prevalent this is occurring, but wanted to alert you.
ACR’s-First through fifth grade ACR’s were due March 1 and should have been signed and input into synergy by today. Please let me know when you have this completed so that I can let Brad know we’re all up to date. Thank you!
Hiring Update- Here is an update of where we are hiring wise.
REALMS Administrator– Interviews were today.
Mountain View High School Principal– Interviews are Monday.
Buckingham– This position has been posted. It closes on March 26. Interviews will be on April 9.
Juniper VP– We will be posting on March 23 and closing on April 12. Interviews will be on April 26.
