THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUTH TRUTH SURVEY!
We will share results from the Student Survey soon, but here are a few of the “summary scores” on the Parent Survey.
First off – THANK YOU… we had great family participation in the survey… the highest of all the middle and high schools. Thank you for being engaged!
And secondly… while there is ALWAYS room for us to improve (and this is just one set of data) we feel pretty great about how you as parents perceive we are doing!
The orange bar shows our percentile score can see our overall percentile score compared to all other Youth Truth schools nationally AND the smaller beige bar below that shows the range of Bend LaPine middle schools and high schools for comparison. The “bottom line” is that RMS and RHS score very high nationally, and at the top of all Bend LaPine schools!

UPTICK IN UNCHARGED iPADS – YIKES, HELP!
We are seeing an serious uptick in students bringing uncharged iPads to school and finding themselves unable to access critically important schoolwork during the day because their iPads are not charged. This is especially true and impactful for our middle school students.
One “interesting” thing we often notice is that these students usually DO have a fully charged phone! In other words, they are able to and are remembering to charge their phone but not their iPad. YIKES!
Parents – you can help by checking in each evening and each morning to help your student build a HABIT of plugging in their iPad EVERY EVENING in the same way that they plug in their phone every evening!! This includes a regular habitual time and place for iPad charging!
THANK YOU FOR HELPING YOUR STUDENT BUILD THIS CRITICAL HABIT!

JUST 4 WEEKS LEFT IN TRIMESTER 2!
