Sparrow Stuff the Jars: What an awesome first week for Sparrow Autumn, but we have four more days to crush this fundraiser before it ends on Friday, June 4. Below are the cash collection results so far by grade and staff. If you wish, you can now donate online via TouchBase (click on the category SPARROW). We will continue collecting cash or checks made payable to PCMS. I want to remind you that a generous and anonymous PCMS parent has offered to match the amount donated by our 8th graders. We will most certainly be enjoying some fun with water on the last day of school!

  • 6th Grade: $224.76
  • 7th Grade: $218.00
  • 8th Grade: $468.00
  • Staff: $22.00
  • Total: $932.76

Extra Income for June 9th Athletics Event: We are still looking for support on June 9th for our Volleyball Jamboree at PCMS and Wrestling Match at Cascade MS. We will need a lot of help so if you are able and can put it on your calendar, please sign-up here. Times, position and stipend amounts are listed on each tab in the link. Go Golden Eagles!

State Testing Wrap Up: We have 43 tests left to administer after two weeks of testing. These must finish up this week so staff will be pulling students from classes to complete this. I know that pulling students at any time is not ideal but these must get completed. If you’re curious who might be leaving your class, the list is HERE.

Grade Level Meetings this Wednesday: Please meet as a grade level in order to talk about students who have been on our EBISS list this year and who may need to be on our watch list for 2021-2022. HERE is the EBISS list that we have used. Notice that there is a dark line at the bottom of each grade level tab. Please talk together to add any students who need to be listed under Watch List or simply copy and paste those students above who you believe still need to be on our list for next year. Teams will meet in Webex rooms at 2:30.

  • 6th Grade- Jane Ward
  • 7th Grade- Mark Segesta
  • 8th Grade- Sara Trakselis

Last Day of School Schedule: HERE is the schedule for the last day of school. Because we will have eaten based on 5th period for the rest of that week, that is what we will use that day as well. We will have specific COVID guidelines for the day and spaces that we will need to follow while we are outside. Ryan will share these with us as we get closer to the day. The fun outside will be as part of 7th period and then students will transition to their actual 7th period class. This way, students are in specific locations at the end of the day. Get ready to get wet on the last day!

Save The Date: Heather Marr has offered MARRVILLE for us to gather, celebrate, congratulate, say “good-bye, see ya soon, see ya around!” Mark your calendar now for Thursday, June 17 at 3pm. More info will follow soon.
