Here are a couple of reminders/asks from the recent Safety Team Meeting:
- If staff need to exit the building during the day (i.e. to run an errand, get something from their car) please re-enter through either the Main Entrance or rear hallway doors and not through a classroom door.
- Classroom Teachers-Please remind your students participating in Running Club to not stop when going behind the dugouts on the baseball field
- Winter is here! Watch your step and walk like a penguin when necessary in the Parking Lot and on the sidewalks
If you’re looking for a Veteran’s Day activity, here is one to consider: Honor Flight of Central Oregon is a local non-profit organization that fly’s WWII, Korean and Vietnam War Veterans to see their memorial in Washington DC. On the return flight from Washington DC, each Veteran receives a package full of cards and letters to open. Honor Flight is asking Central Oregon schools for help in preparing letters and cards for Veteran’s. Here is more information
