Thank you for your thoughtful planning with holiday related activities or parties you may have in the coming weeks. Lava Ridge students celebrate a variety of holidays this time of year, some do not, and some are not able to. Your consideration of every student is appreciated. Here is a reflection tool created the Bend-La Pine Equity Team you may find helpful in your planning.
If you need to have more than one volunteer in your classroom on any given day, just let Amber and Miriam know so we can plan to greet them when they arrive. Thank you for continuing to remind your volunteers that they must have a government issued id with them each time they come to help.

- Chocolate covered worm
- Dried grasshoppers in Nicaragua
- Alligator sausage
- Cow’s tongue
- Raw elk fresh off the animal! Weirdly good.
