Canva for Education is available for all students and staff. Canva is an online design and publishing tool that provides templates for easy-to-create presentations, posters, documents, and other types of visual content. For tutorials and use ideas check out Canva’s Design School.
To access Canva, log in to Clever and click the Canva for Education icon on the Clever Portal (it is found on the District Page tab). These same steps are used for students and staff alike. Keep in mind that non-teaching staff do not automatically have Clever accounts, which is necessary for access to Canva. If this happens, please contact our team and we will manually create a Clever account for that staff member. Additional information can be found on this Canva Resource Guide.
Canva recently rolled out a handy new AI feature called Magic Studio. In Canva’s own words: “Whatever you need, Magic Studio helps you create a first draft, fast. Find the right words with Magic Write, create custom content in seconds with Magic Design, generate eye-catching images with AI image and video generation apps like Magic Media, and so much more.”
Canva is a collaborative tool, meaning students can share projects with each other and their teachers, much like the Google Suite, using the sharing feature on their projects.
